What is it?

Co2 laser is regarded as the gold standard treatment for skin rejuvenation and resurfacing. It will create pixel-sized perforations in the skin which will promote new collagen and tissue regeneration. It is ideal to treat wrinkles, fine lines, pigmentation, uneven texture and skin laxity.

How does it work?

Pixel laser passes through an optic lens into the skin with tiny channels of heat. This energy heats up the water in the surface layers, causing water and tissue to vaporize. This stimulates skin rejuvenation, production of collagen and skin tightening. The microscopic beams make the treatment more direct to smaller areas of the skins surface at one time, giving less side effects than some other lasers.

Co2 stimulates the growth of collagen and improvements will continue after the treatment, for approximately six months. Most clients will be pleased with one session but the treatment can be repeated after 4-6months.

For the first few days the skin may feel tight and may itchy occasionally. Following the treatment, the outer layer of skin will turn darker and peel within 3 to 4 days. Peeling is usually complete by seven days, leaving soft, new pink skin underneath. This can be pink for about two weeks which can be disguised with make up. After care products will be recommended.

Topical numbing cream will be applied to the area so the pain is minimal throughout the treatment.
