What is Vampire Facelift ?
The vampire facelift uses platelet-rich-plasma (PRP) and Hyaluronic Acid (HA) to give the face the appearance of fresher, more youthful and rejuvenated skin. It works immediately, with little to no downtime.
PRP treatment offers healing and regeneration properties to the skin, meaning you can continue to see results for 2-3 months following the procedure.*
How PRP treatment works
In the vampire facelift procedure, we use Hyaluronic Acid to first ‘sculpt’ the face, targeting signs of ageing such as sagging, and to give a more youthful shape to the face whilst maintaining a natural appearance. HA is a naturally occurring polysaccharide (a large sugar) which is found in connective therapy throughout our bodies, especially in the skin.
Platelet-rich-plasma is created by taking a 20ml sample of blood and spinning it in a centrifuge machine for 8 minutes, separating the platelets from other blood components. The platelets are then ‘activated’, which causes the release of at least 8 growth factors.
We then inject the PRP back into the face, where the growth factors activate stem cells already present to begin healing the skin. These stem cells also increase blood flow, which develops into new collagen that targets signs of ageing.

Am I Suitable for the Vampire Facelift ?
During your vampire facelift consultation, your concerns will be discussed and a PRP treatment plan can be developed especially for you if you are suitable for therapy. As each person is different, and have different ‘problem’ areas, each therapy plan will be different.
The Vampire Facelift can treat:
PRP Treatment: Results and Recovery
The PRP treatment stimulates the production of the body’s natural collagen, which helps to battle against signs of ageing, such as wrinkles. You can see some results of the treatment immediately after your session, however, you will be able to notice an improvement in skin texture and tone within 3 weeks.*
The renewing effects a vampire facelift offers can continue to be seen for 2-3 months following the treatment, as full collagen regeneration can take up to 2 months. The results then typically last for 12 months.*
Recovery time for a vampire facelift is minimal, however, you can expect to see some redness, minor swelling, and minor bruising at the needle site, which will reduce within a few hours. In some cases, it can take up to 2 days for the swelling and redness to be completely gone. The little downtime following the procedure ensures a quick return to your daily activities following the treatment.*
There is no risk of infection as the treatment is antimicrobial, and using your own blood ensures there is no risk of an allergic reaction.
